travel, but differently

Traveling was never about who had the most passport stamps or the best cliche’ pics

In fact, traveling is less about the places you go and more about the people you encounter along the way.

Like that older woman who will cook you something off the menu just for you, or the look on kids' faces when they see someone that looks like you for the first time.

About me: wildly sonia aka Sonia Moroni Duru

Traveling has shown me over and over again that any language or cultural barrier can be burned to the ground if you are willing to and have a bit of patience.

After traveling with my mum for the majority of my childhood, I decided to continue on my own as an adult and I have never looked back.

I lived and traveled through some amazing countries but what made each experience incredible was the experience attached to it.

✈️ Living as an exchange student in a non-English speaking family in China? Loved it.

✈️ Moving to The Netherlands on my own a few weeks after graduating high school? Mad experience.

✈️ Getting lost among temple ruins in Thailand? Highly recommended.

✈️ Sleeping in my van right on the beach in Australia? Won’t ever forget.

Fast forward to today...

Being a digital nomad is a dream come true.

Between content creation, digital marketing and photography gigs I have enough to keep myself busy while designing (and enjoying) a life built around my passions.

Here’s to more travels, more self-discoveries and more once-in-a-lifetime encounters
