Identities is a transformative community centered around the topics of identity, race, and finding your place in the world through heart-centered truth.
We believe that the fight for anti-racism goes deeper than facts, statistics and practical approaches. By sharing the stories and experiences of minorities everywhere, we are not only creating a safe space of self-expression, but are able to educate in a deeper-than-surface-level way. It is our belief that your contribution to the movement needs to come from a place of understanding not only tangible information, but the feelings and emotions of actual individuals who have been subjected to racism and its ever-harmful reach.
We do not wish to preach or tell anyone what to do. Rather, we hope that every word written here speaks for itself and allows you the freedom to choose how you want to sit with it. What you read here comes from the soul of every writer and is meant to move you into contemplation that will hopefully change your perspective and the way you navigate through the world from here on out.

Identities is representative not only of the black community, but all minority communities and we are super hype to keep growing and expanding. While our approach is to spotlight the darkness of racism, we also want to sprinkle in humor, hope and love into what we put out there.
After all, real change happens when we not only understand the dark sides of life, but leave room to embrace the light as well.
